My husband and I were both raised with dogs. We bought our first German Shepherd, Tyler in 1989. We chose the breed because of their loyalty, intelligence and beauty. We found that he was easy to train and learned very quickly. He was also a very good protector. Our second and third Shepherds came 10 years later after we lost Tyler to cancer. I went to work at a canine center where we bought our dogs. We eventually moved to Glengarry County with our three young children where we built and opened Arden Country Kennels and began our breeding and boarding program. We love all our boarding guests as if they were our own and strive to make their stay with us the best experience possible. We also breed German Shepherds from the best blood lines to produce quality puppies, to improve the breed and stay within the German breed standards.
